This is the piece that I did during the unit 8 project. I worked on it during class which is unique because typically I work on my unit projects at home. I enjoyed this a lot because while I'm not the best at it, watercolor is one of my favorite art mediums to work in. I especially like it when I pair it with some fine liner ink, I believe it makes the piece pop. I used Winslow Holmer as my master artist because he is a very impressive watercolor painter. As my current artist, I used Valentia Verlato as my current artist. I tried to find watercolor artists that I liked looking at, and drew some inspiration from their pieces. Something I think that went well in this project is the actual watercolor. Something that could have gone better is layering the actual color and also making sure that the black pen doesn't overpower the color scheme in the piece. Overall this was a fun project.
